Sub-processors
The third parties Yebo engages to help deliver the Services, and how changes are notified.
Yebo engages a limited number of Sub-processors to provide infrastructure and supporting services for Yebo OS. This page describes how we govern them and how we notify customers of changes. The itemised, current list is maintained and made available to customers as described below.
1. What a sub-processor is
A Sub-processor is a third party engaged by Yebo to process customer Personal Data in the course of delivering the Services — for example, cloud infrastructure hosting in the customer's selected region.
2. Current sub-processors
The current list of Sub-processors — including entity name, the service provided, and the region of processing — is maintained by Yebo and provided to customers and prospective customers on request and via [the trust portal / customer account]. The itemised list is kept there, rather than published statically, so it remains accurate and scoped to each deployment. [Populate the maintained list before go-live.]
3. Due diligence
Before engaging a Sub-processor, Yebo assesses its security and data-protection posture and enters into written terms imposing obligations no less protective than those in the DPA.
4. Change notification
Yebo notifies customers of any intended addition or replacement of a Sub-processor with reasonable prior notice through [the trust portal / email to the account's designated contact]. Customers may object on legitimate data-protection grounds within [notice period] of notification, and the parties will work in good faith to resolve the objection.
5. Liability
Yebo remains responsible for the acts and omissions of its Sub-processors to the same extent it would be responsible if performing the services directly, as set out in the DPA and main agreement.
